Each day is one full paper, sat exactly like the real thing. When session 2 ends, the room finds out where it ranks. Then you get an hour with the co-founders.

Questions

What is Mockathon?

An in-person SQE1 exam simulation. You sit FLK1 on one day and FLK2 on another, timed and invigilated in a real room, then see your score ranked against everyone else who sat it, and stay for a Q&A. Online mocks are everywhere. This is the sitting you cannot do at home.

What is the Q&A session?

After the paper you get an hour of live Q&A with our co-founders, who passed the SQE1. Ask them about the questions you just sat and how to approach SQE1 questions like them.

Which days can I join?

FLK1 is Saturday 19 December 2026 and FLK2 is Saturday 2 January 2027. Each day mirrors the real exam: 170 questions in two sessions of 85, 2 hours 33 minutes each, with a 60 minute break. Ask for one day or both.

Where is it?

The Council Chamber at Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, London N8 9JJ, a Grade II* listed Art Deco building.

What happens after I join?

You are on the list. We will email you before tickets open, and the people on the waitlist get first access. A place on the list is not a ticket.

Could Mockathon change or be cancelled?

Mockathon is not finalised yet. We reserve the right to change or cancel it, and if we do we will email everyone on the waitlist. Joining is not a booking, and no price or payment is agreed. The terms explain this.

How much will it cost?

We will contact you later about the price and all the other details.

How does the £100 prize work?

£100 for the best combined result across both days, so you need to sit both to compete for it. Sitting one day still gives you that paper and your rank against the room.

How many seats are there, and when does the list close?

60 seats per day. The waitlist closes on 31 October 2026.

Why do you ask for proof of my SQE1 registration?

Mockathon places should go to genuine SQE1 candidates, so we ask for proof that you are registered for January 2027. It can be the confirmation PDF or a screenshot of the email. It is optional now: if you do not have it to hand, we will ask you for it later. We keep it private, use it only for this check, and delete it after the exam or sooner if you ask. Why do you ask which city I am in?

The day is in north London. Knowing where people are travelling from helps us plan for the room.

What time does it start, and what should I bring?

Start times, food, access and what to bring will go to the waitlist before tickets open.

Is this an official SQE exam?

No. SQE Cracker is independent of the SRA and Pearson VUE, and Mockathon is not an official assessment. It is a practice sitting, run like the real day.
